Many thanks to all of the second grade families who got together to prepare for AppleFest, our big celebration, which takes place on Saturday, October 19 from 11 AM to 4 PM. AppleFest is such a fun filled event, complete with a bouncy slide and castle, face painting, arts and craft activities, and carnival games. Of course, my favorite part of this annual event is the food: chili, waffles, burgers, hotdogs, and sandwiches. Yum!
With your participation, it will be a great day, bringing together BNS and BCS (the Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies, our sister school upstairs). AppleFest is the first big community gathering of the year and we hope to see everyone there.
Come to 610 Henry Street, hang out for the day, and have fun.
